Greenway Park Design Intent

"The Greenway Park Design Code integrates urban design and environmental design principles into a cohesive vision for a pedestrian-scaled, ecologically-sound community.

Landscaping, garden walls, porches and site lighting define and enliven edge conditions along the street.  Greenway trails extend to the StateForest.  Buildings create well-proportioned, pedestrian-friendly spaces.  Paths for pedestrians and bicyclists connect in all directions unifying the neighborhood.  

Conservation objectives heighten sensitivity to intense sunlight, scarce water and prevailing sea breezes."
